How Did it Begin?
In the 1960's, chiropractors developed Applied Kinesiology based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Since that time, various systems have evolved, i.e., Touch for Health, Muscle Testing, Dowsing, Energy Testing, Holistic and Wholistic Kinesiology. Holistic Kinesiology is an evolving form of energy testing used to access information about you, your children or animals that is not always available to the conscious mind. Your subconscious holds your memories and all information concerning your body, including how to heal most effectively. When the cause of a physical or emotional problem is elusive, Kinesiology can be very helpful in bringing the most important issues to your awareness. Amazingly, it can be done both in person and remotely.
How Does it Work?
When you hold something in your hand like a supplement, or think intently about an emotion, your body will respond with either positive or negative energy. An obvious example of this is the difference between how your body would respond if a puppy came running through the door versus a robber walking through the door with a gun. In the first scenario, your body opens up and leans forward; while with the robber, your body would most likely shrink and move backward. Your body's response is more subtle than this when testing for the cause of illness. However, by asking yes or no questions, we can measure positive and negative energy in your body, pinpoint imbalances and determine what your body needs for healing. Its an exciting way to communicate with children who are not yet conscious or articulate about their sensual experiences, as well as an amazing way to figure out what is going on with your pets.
What Can We Uncover?
Holistic Kinesiology can answer many questions about:
• nutrition and food sensitivities
• the best therapies for healing
• remedies, supplements and their doses
• trapped negative emotions
• energetic blocks
• imbalances in the body
• emotional causes of physical ailments
What Does a Session Look Like?
If someone came to me with ringworm, for example, I would ask her body for information about it. The testing may show that it is fungal; however I do not stop there and treat the fungus. Instead I ask why there is fungus. Perhaps I would find that one of her organs is out of balance. Again, I do not stop there, but go on and find out which organ and why it is out of balance. Lastly, we may find that she had a traumatic experience as a child which resulted in negative emotions lodging in this organ. (Emotions are simply frequencies in our body, and lower frequencies such as shame and humiliation often cause illness.)
In discovering these low vibrations in her organ, we have reached the deepest level of cause and begin releasing these emotions. At this point, her organ is usually back in balance. The last step is to test for remedies and/or energy healing modalities for the fungus. However, often when we deal with the root cause, in this case the trapped emotions, the body is capable of healing itself and the physical symptoms disappear.
