Ecos de la Marea
Can you feel a gentle pulling, the echoes of the tide?
Human constructs have always been extremely tumultuous, volatile waves on a stormy sea. It can be disorienting and stressful, especially if we do not have the eyes to see that it is only a very small part of the ocean. The Tide calls to us to drop below the turmoil at the surface, into the Deep—a place where Reality is harmonized and tranquil.
Now more than ever we need to rest in this Calm. We need to see the ever-changing nature of the storms clearly, to perceive beneath the surface, to listen and to feel what is real. After all, we came to earth to bathe in Reality—to gather and harmonize with others, to sing and pray, to listen, love, dance, meditate and laugh together! So, come. Come celebrate with me. Make the choice to walk away from the chaotic dream of the culture and sing a new song. Join with me—and the seals and the ravens and the fish and the sand fleas and the sea weed and the rocks who have forever been singing this ancient song—for a day-time ceremony, near every full moon, in the sacred cave at Doran Beach. Be held and nurtured by Mother Nature. Recalibrate with the echoes of the tide. The waves, the wild wind, the dark earth womb await you … |
Next Ceremony: Date and time to be announced soon. |
Monthly Ceremonies
Ceremonies take place within a couple of days of each full moon. The dates and times depend upon the weather and tides. Ceremonies are approximately 90 minutes and reflect the gifts of those who come. Please sign up below if you wish to receive a monthly email, one week before the moon is full, with specific details. Location & Directions: We meet in the parking lot at Pinnacle Gulch, a Sonoma County Regional Park in the Bodega Harbour golf community right next to Doran Beach Road. To get there take Highway 1 toward Bodega Bay and turn left into the Bodega Harbour golf community. Take a left at the guard house onto Heron Drive and drive for almost a mile. Take the first left onto Mockingbird Road. Pinnacle Gulch parking lot is on your left. (There is a bathroom in the parking lot.) You will need a Regional Park pass or to pay if you park in the parking lot. There is also free street parking in the neighborhood. It is a beautiful 20 minute walk down the gulch to the ocean. The cave is another 10 minute walk along the beach to your right. Anyone is welcome so please spread the word!

Out beyond ideas of
wrongdoing and rightdoing
there is a [cave].
I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that [sand]
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase 'each other'
doesn't make sense.
