Recapitulation \rē-kə-ˌpi-chə-ˈlā-shən\  n. 1. a review of resources and expenditures for the purpose of renewal or changing how an individual uses their energy. i.e. The simple ongoing process of recapitulation empowers, renews and enlivens.

We waste so much of our vital energy on entangled, constricting judgment, hurt and resentment. We punish ourselves by carrying the anger and pain of the past in our bodies. Our inability to let go of these feelings and beliefs destroys our well-being, distorts our perception of Reality, and blocks the flow of Life Force Energy within us.

There is another way to be, one where we are free to ignite, blossom and offer our radiant giftedness to the world. We can energetically release our constriction, and then learn to stay in the present moment fully resourced with fluidity and grace.

A Half-day Retreat

In response to the global chaos, our culture appears to be offering us only two options right now. We can be agreeable and compliant, or rigid and reactive. We can collapse resentfully and remain imprisoned by the oppressive hierarchy, or we can be angry, arrogant and violent.

These two options are distorted forms of our Being and Doing energies, unconscious perverted patterns of our Feminine and Masculine energies. Everywhere you turn today, people are reacting from a dysregulated nervous system, acting out of conditioned patterns that loop in endless cycles. Fight, flight or freeze. Do you recognize this in yourself?

There is a third option which is always available—right here, right now. We can embody the pure, harmonizing Life Force Energy that spirals and flows through us. When we take radical responsibility for the ways in which we personally react with distorted energy, we learn to respond with True Redemptive energy. We find internal alignment with our YES!  

Come join me for a half-day retreat to learn to harmonize your energy and step into your powerful essential giftedness. Through meditation, poetry, teaching, music, and personal reflection we will explore our unique relationships with distorted and pure forms of Feminine and Masculine energies. We will turn our focus from the chaos of the external world to the True Dream waiting to emerge within all of us.

We will be staying in a local guest house, a safe, quiet and comfortable place to call home while exploring the energy of Teotihuacan.

Participants can explore the pyramids, temples and ancient caves, engage in activities to process their experiences, connect with mystery in a sweat lodge ceremony with local guides, be bathed in the colorful beauty of Mexico, participate in ceremonies in sacred sites, meet local artists, and much more!

What and Why Teotihuacan

Teotihuacan abounds with mystery! The two-mile Avenue of the Dead is lined with pyramids over 2,500 years old, as well as layered temples, some up to 14,000 years old. Archaeologists have no idea how or by whom they were built. Beneath the pyramids and temples is a network of natural caves with a tunnel system that some scientists believe was hand-dug 24,000 years ago!

The caves—shaped like four leaf clovers—contain a mysterious energy that shamanic traditions call "black light.” Astrophysicists have recently discovered that this light is the energy of the expanding universe, the same energy of creation found in black holes in space. Black holes are places from where all things emerge and return, and have no space or time. There are very few places on earth that contain the intensity of black light which is found in the caves of Teotihuacan.

The caves below Teo root deeply into the wisdom of the earth while the pyramids above them reach beyond the stars like tuning forks into cosmic energies. The magic of embodied coherence happens when in ceremony we consciously place ourselves within the harmony of this spiraling double helix.  We remember our YES!
